It will not be easy to forget the dreadful night…thank God its over.
He had appendicectomy two weeks ago, and since then has been saying of bellyaching. My thought stress ulcers….but yesterday it was terrible and he landed in ER. Multiple air fluid levels on jejunum. What could it be, paralytic ileus or some obstruction. He was conservatively managed with loads of fluid and NG tube in place. Was obviously dehydrated and the fluids worked miracles in 24 hrs.
